Translators

In stressful situations, communicating in a non-native language can be challenging. English/Spanish translators can be helpful in emergencies. Bilingual taxi drivers have also been used translators. One example is using a translator when arranging care in an assisted living facility. NOTE: Spanish/English translators do not have the same knowledge or skill set. Some translators may have a greater knowledge of medical or legal terminology and you may find them more useful when dealing with a particular issue. It is recommended that you talk to several translators to determine which person is the right professional to assist you in dealing with your immediate or a future situation.
